Brunel Ultimate, formally Brunel Falcons, and Brunel STD, are a team where the emphasis is on improvement whilst having fun, with all levels welcome to our training... With a team last year almost entirely made of freshers nurtured by Gemma & Matt (mum + dad) we are aiming to suceed even more next year. Watch out for some more amazing fresher skills along with some great ladder league events!!

The Disc Doctors are Imperial College’s Ultimate team. We now regularly send two teams to events, we’ve got our first ever batch of tasty yellow and blue hoodies, a second batch of comfy lookfly shirts, and some new "Disc Duck-tor" discs on the way. We aren’t successful enough or big enough to have our own feature-film (The Mighty Hucks/dDucks?) or action figurines (Imperial Ultimate Action Man, with layout mechanism), but we’re working on it...

Strange Blue, founded ages ago, has been a consistent force over the years, regularly finishing in the top two at SE regionals. We came 8th at Indoor Nationals this year (2005), whilst finshing 7th overall in LWL for two years running (with a little townie help). The mud, wind and rain of Jesus Green obviously helps. Or maybe it's just using the lacrosse players as targets.

Formed nearly three years ago when J Hunter nearly got thrown out of the student union for 'illegally advertising' an unendorsed club Holloway have gone from strength to strength. J's boundless enthusiasm seems to have rubbed off on everyone and the club has seen some enormous sign ups from freshers and this year has actually managed to keep most of them. Coming 4th at last years outdoor regionals and 7th at this years indoor NTN our girls came 2nd at the open women's indoors this year. Now it's just a case of persuading our 3rd years to do masters...

Now in their 8th year, the Under Cover Lovers have established themselves as a strong South-East University team. Boasting a real mix of complete beginners, growing talent and a handful of foreign "one-semester" imports, UCL has consistently performed well in Student events during its lifetime.
Despite never having won a single title, you'll usually find the Lovers challenging hard for that elusive victory, with a strong reputation for competitive play. No doubt UCL will continue to fight for the number one spot for many years to come...

Equilibrium is the most Pareto-optimal ultimate ever played! From leaping economists to laying-out lawyers, you never thought a bunch of nose-up-their-arses smarty-pants could actually take the the pitch and huck and D with the best of them. Re-formed in 2004 after a few year hiatus, Equilibrium looks to bring fun and fitness to the fuddy-duddy world of economics and political science.

We're a new team based in South West London and up for as many games and as
much experience as we can get. So far we've had a lot of interest from every
year of students and seem to have new faces at every session.

Back into existence after a two year absence, Kent Uni's team is made up 90% from new players eager to learn, looking to play some local games with an eye to entering more competitive tournaments next season. "We've had a bit of a weird year just trying to get things organised and sort people out but we're feeling more grounded now. Next year we're hoping to get involved a lot more with Ladder League and more tournaments."

"I'm not sure whether we'll get anywhere this year, but obviously we need games and fun tournaments. Then I can try and get enough people to be free on the same day and play! As most people here are only here for a year, it may be a bit of a perpetual beginners thing which is why I hope to get into things quicker next October..."
"We are starting to get somewhere, we now have time in the sports hall etc (not being a real club at the start of the year made it hard to get any!). We practise on campus (MK43 0AL), it's basically half way between Bedford and Milton Keynes... "

"Hi there, I'm the captain of a newly formed university team from Goldsmiths College, Uni of London. Are there any leagues or tournaments that we could join right now next year or preferably this year?" "When the sun comes out everyones gonna be well up for it - we can't wait to start playing properly."

"We've got a lot of interest in our club and would be really interested to organise a couple of games against other local teams in the next few months to get some match practice - although as we're new to it I reckon we'll get slaughtered! We're definately up for joining the ladder league when it gets going next year so you can count the St George's DragonSlayers in!"

"Whether you want to play competitively, come out on our socials or just chuck a disk around and have a laugh, the UBUC is here for you: we are a new club formed by a bunch of Frisbee players who were disappointed to see that Brighton Uni didn't have an Ultimate club. Well... now we do.
Men and Women all welcome, no skill level required. We Meet on the level in Brighton at 3pm every thursday afternoon."

A brand new team being coached by Matt, a PhD student with a year's experience who is playing with LTD Release 2 over the summer...
"Plan is to play the beginner tournaments in October, play ladder league stuff, enter uni qualifiers and try and be competitive - and then go from there. I'm going to do the coaching/team organisation side - for the first year at least - but the other stuff like name, kit design, website, etc. I'll leave up to the others, to get the freshers/new players involved, coming up with ideas."
